Each division is different, but each team will play a minimum of once per week. Typically games do not occur on Fridays for the younger divisions, and there are no games on weekends.

Your child(ren)'s coach will be contacting you in early May to provide you with more information about the season. The Rexdale Baseball League's season starts just after the Victoria Day long weekend for most divisions.

Each player will require a Jock or Jill athletic support, good athletic shoes or cleats (rubber only), and a baseball glove. You may also consider purchasing a personal batting helmet as well.

The coaches will have batting helmets, bats, and other needed equipment for the team to share.

Each coach for every team will discuss and decide on practice times based on the player and park availability. In some cases, it will be the same time every week, or it could alternate times, depending on the division.

The players are instructed to report to the baseball park at their scheduled time, unless notified by their coaches prior to the game. The umpires, coaches, and convenor will make a decision on whether the game will be cancelled or not.

If the rain has subsided, the park will be surveyed by the coaches and umpires. The umpire will have the final say, and if the playing surface is deemed unplayable or unsafe, the game will be called off and rescheduled.
