Divisions

Overview

6U (formerly T-Ball): With a focus on learning baseball fundamentals, young ball players, aged four through six, will learn to hit off a tee. Lead-offs and base stealing are not allowed, and fielders may stop play by controlling the ball and calling for "time".

9U (formerly Rookie Ball): A pitching machine is used to allow players aged seven through nine to learn to hit live pitching and benefit from the consistency of the machine and a faster-paced game.

11U (formerly Mosquito): Introduces players ages 10 and 11 to the next level of the game of baseball. One of the biggest changes in this division is the introduction of the opposing team pitching the ball to the batter.

13U (formerly Pee Wee): Building on the skills developed in Mosquito, the Pee Wee division for players 12 and 13 years old focuses on player development and incorporates stealing and other baseball rules into normal play.

15U (formerly Bantam): Continuing to build on players' skills, Bantam is full-fledged baseball for 14 and 15 year olds. With stealing and leadoffs, this division does have some conditions on the number of innings that can be pitched. Players will be developing their role and settling into positions by this stage.

18U (formerly Midget): One of the more competitive divisions for players aged 16-18. Previous experience and/or understanding of the game is recommended. This is the last division before entering an adult league.

21U (formerly Junior): Competitive division for those who are experienced and understand the game and all rules.
